Once upon a publication...

I'm not going to lie. I was terrified to publish :)

Which is why I did what I call a 'soft launch' for SNO.

Zero marketing beyond posting to my tiny Instagram community. I was ASTOUNDED by the 35 copies that have gone to new homes <3 And I hope each of you who ordered one enjoy aspects of this story.

That's been the most fascinating part to me so far:

each person who's talked to me about Sno has come away with an entirely different

p e r s p e c t i v e

Which is what reading is all about.

We can read the same words, from the same page, at the same time and

each of us

will come away with an entirely different tale.

I just re-read Sno for the first time since I don't remember when...

I've read parts in implementing edits, and proofreader feedback, etc.

but at a certain point in the editing process I couldn't enjoy it.

They say 'write the story you want to read' but don't tell you it's because you

WILL BE READING IT ten thousand times!

My FANTASTIC book club wanted to read Sno...

and so I used the peer pressure as an excuse to actually read it!

Mostly for fun - with a bit of catching typos that somehow make it past

TWO ROUNDS OF EDITS

TWO PROOFREADERS and

THIRTEEN DRAFTS.

May we all have that much determination in life.

There was really no point to this post when I began writing...

I guess I just wanted some words on the page today. And I wanted to say THANK YOU to each of my readers for giving Sno a chance.
